This product has two parts--a small,very well illustrated (color) book and a CD ROM. The photography, diagrams, maps and charts are excellent. When you read or listen to the text material, it is easy to follow and understand. Not overly technical--it's at a good level for an interested traveler.
I just got done "playing" with the CD on my lap top. I thought it was really neat! Slide in the CD and it pops right up on the screen. You can tour the park, learn about the geology of the park and the surrounding region. Very interactive and a great way to plan for a trip. Be sure to take the book and CD with you if you go to the park. You can play the audio portion as you drive through the park.
I think this product is well done and worthwhile.
