How do I copy a program from the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM to my Hard Drive (or Network Server)?
Tasa CD-ROMs or DVD-ROMs can be copied to your hard drive following the guidelines stated on your license agreement. If you have a Network License, this hard drive can be on your network server.
Here are the necessary steps for Windows systems:
- First create a new folder on your hard drive (typically drive C:).
- Name the folder something like the product that you're copying (e.g. Structure Two). The name is not important, so choose something that you will recognize.
- Select the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive and then select "explore" from the File Menu (or from the right-mouse-button pop-up menu).
- Copy the entire contents of the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM to the folder you've created on your Hard Drive.
Here are the necessary steps for Mac systems:
Mac OS 9:
- Drag the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM icon that appears on your desktop to the location on your hard drive where you want the program to go.
Mac OS 10:
- Hold down the option key while you drag the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM icon that appears on your desktop to the location on your hard drive where you want the program to go.
