Illustrated Dictionary of Earth Science on Windows does not properly display images with QuickTime™ versions 7.5.5 or later. For it to work correctly, download QuickTime version 7.5 or earlier (You can download version 7.5 from the Apple website.).
With the latest version of QuickTime, definitions and movies work correctly. You may "Explore" the CD-ROM to view the images without running the program.
If you choose to install an older version of QuickTime on your system, you must first uninstall the current version.
To uninstall the current version of QuickTime:
- Click on Start button in lower left corner.
- Click on Programs on the menu.
- Find QuickTime folder and click on it.
- Click on Uninstall.
