A strong resource for Earth science or geography classes, this CD presents lessons in geomorphology, the study of land forms and the processes that shape them. Topics include Weathering & Soils, Rivers, Coastlines, Groundwater, Deserts & Winds, and Glaciers & Climate. Content is present via narrated slide shows with photographs and animations. Once in a while, there is an "interactive activity" included in the lesson (for instance, identify a drainage divide by clicking on points on a map). There is also a "Physiographic Province Tour" that visits 42 national parks and monuments, exploring the processes of change that made each park what it is today. This is a very interesting, well presented tutorial, and it runs straight from the CD with no installation required. On the downside, there is no record keeping, it's easy to get lost (potentially missing important points) and the transitions between screens can be slow.
