QuickTime Questions
How do I install the latest version of QuickTime? If you have QuickTime™ and the movies will play but not the QuickTime™ VRs (the movies that you can move by clicking and dragging your mouse or by using your arrow keys), then you probably need the latest version of QuickTime™. Illustrated Dictionary of Earth Science on Windows does not properly display images with QuickTime™ versions 7.5.5 or later.
Windows Questions
If you have a 64-bit version of XP, Vista, or Windows 7. If you are seeing this Windows message: “This program requires at least 3 Mb of virtual memory.” If you are seeing this Windows message: “Unhandled Exception c0000005” If you have Windows 2000 and are experiencing audio problems. If you see an error message that reads: "Problem opening :C/DOCUME~\...Temp -34".
  • This indicates that you have an older version of our program. The solution is to upgrade to the newest version. In the meantime, this error message is harmless; just click the OK button and it will go away.
