Download files that fix the Windows 2000 Audio Problem

Several of our programs have an audio problem when using Windows 2000. The following links will download a (self extracting) ZIP file (.exe) that contain files that will fix this problem.

The fix will require that the contents of the CD-ROM be copied to a folder on your hard disk or on your network file sever. The fix also requires that Quicktime 3 (or higher) be installed on your Windows 2000 system.

Download the file for your particular product. After extracting the contents of the downloaded .exe file there will be 3 files, one of which will be a ReadMe.txt file. Open the ReadMe file and follow the instructions.

• Hands-On Mineral Identification - (* not necessary for version 1.1 or later)
• Plate Tectonics and How the Earth Works - (*not necessary for version 1.2 or later)
• The Study of Minerals - (*not necessary for version 1.7 or later)
• GEODe II or GEODe III
